Ever since his shy high school days, Grant Gross has been passionate about three things: technology, public policy and journalism. These interests are what propelled his journalism career and took him from covering school board and county commission meetings to becoming a highly regarded technology reporter.
As a journalist for nearly 30 years, 14 of those years spent as a Senior Editor at IDG News Service, Grant has had the opportunity to merge his interests together, primarily covering technology, cybersecurity, and the intersection of technology and public policy. His stories have appeared in several prominent print and online news outlets, including PCWorld, Computerworld, the New York Times, The Washington Post, ABC News and CIO magazine.
In this week’s episode of Inside the Media Minds, we hear about Grant’s experience as a freelance journalist, along with his thoughts on the progression of election security, artificial intelligence and technology-influenced trends.
