Case Study

W2 produced a series of sell sheets, brochures, one pagers, PowerPoint templates and videos for AlixPartners’ legal data analytics and eDiscovery practices. From Corporate Discovery to Second Requests to Data Visualization, our team delivered high-impact custom graphics and modern designs to support AlixPartners’ business development initiatives.

Customer

  • Global consulting firm focused on Digital Transformations, Investigations / Risk / Disputes, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organization & Transformative Leadership, Performance Improvement and Turnaround & Restructuring

Challenge

  • Our team was tasked with creating compelling written content and multimedia pieces for cross-channel distribution from marketing slicks to industry publications
  • The content would be gathered across several business units, from key AlixPartners leadership based around the world according to rapidly changing travel conditions typical of a global consultancy

Journey

  • Working closely with the business development team and executive leadership, we established a research and content-gathering model whereby we would film AlixPartners professionals in front of a green screen, thus enabling the future editing of videos for numerous purposes from internal training videos to external-facing sales initiatives
  • Our team traveled to New York City, Boston and Washington, DC to conduct live seated interviews in both green screen and scenic settings
  • In addition, we conducted phone interviews with professionals in Asia, Europe and numerous locations around the United States

Solution

  • Once the video and audio recordings were captured, our team then began a comprehensive transcription process, parsing, metatagging and subdividing content for subsequent initiatives
  • Video footage was edited into short-form vignettes as well as full-length pieces for use in both prospecting and organic growth initiatives
  • Content insights gained by our team were able to be resourced across all channels, furthering the consistency of AlixPartners messaging

Implementation

  • We were able to leverage this content for bylined articles, sell sheets and brochures
  • Several of the pieces were further refined for use in Asia and translated into Chinese, Japanese and Korean
  • Brochures were printed and distributed to senior executives for high-pressure pitches around the world

Results

  • The layout, design and quality of content helped elevate AlixPartners client-facing presence, both during in-person pitches as well as follow-up commentary
  • Several of our bylined articles were so well received by the associated publication they were listed on the front cover
