Panel members shared best practices on how to effectively communicate with media, while giving their “predictions” for 2018 along with a “sneak peek” of their upcoming articles. Issues discussed included botnets, utilities, identity management, the intersection of physical and cyber security and overall trust in technology.
Networking (and, of course, tacos) followed for the event, which proved so popular that a number of attendees lingered on well after the official end-time of 8:00 p.m. With its growing visibility and popularity, CYBERTACOS shifts its focus to its next date, April 16, in San Francisco at the RSA Security Conference. Less than a day removed from the Arlington event, a number of attendees are already registering for the next.
CYBERTACOS is sponsored by King & Union, NS8, Nehemiah Security, Cisco, Cybrary, Merlin International, Silent Circle and, of course, W2 Communications and LaunchTech. Interested in sponsoring CYBERTACOS? Email firstname.lastname@example.org
W2 Communications launched CYBERTACOS as a traditional networking event for local members of the cybersecurity community. It has since grown to a recurring opportunity, with upcoming dates in New York City and, as mentioned, San Francisco. At W2 Communications, we’re constantly working on strengthening our relationships with influencers in the technology industry through efforts like these.
