At six years old, with a tape recorder and a couple of Golden Books, Amy “hosted” her very first radio newscast, cultivating an immediate and lasting passion for radio hosting.
As the Morning News Anchor on Bloomberg Radio and the Afternoon Show Co-Host for Bloomberg’s program Politics, Policy, Power and Law, Amy spends much of her day following the 24-hour news cycle, identifying the most fascinating and critical stories. Prior to Bloomberg, Amy was a radio reporter and anchor at several other well-known radio stations, including WTOP, Federal News Radio, WNEW-FM in Washington, D.C. and WILL-AM in Urbana, Illinois.
On this week’s episode of Inside the Media Minds, Amy takes us through her day (which begins when her alarm clock wakes her up half past midnight), speaks about the most memorable moments in her career, offers her insight on how social media is influencing public opinion now more than ever, and takes a look back at the biggest stories of 2018.
