Integrated Marketing Internships

The W2 Communications internship program prides itself on giving future communications professionals real-life opportunities and agency experience. Our program provides interns with a fast-paced, energetic, creative and hardworking environment with our unique integrated marketing communications agency. The selected interns, depending on their course of study, are involved in media relations campaigns, PR writing, social media, graphic design and more!

Our internship team is happy to work with your college or university to ensure you receive full credit. We will also ensure you leave the program with a portfolio and transferable skills you can use throughout your communications career.

In this program, you will: 

  • Support 1-2 accounts 
  • Have a dedicated manager 
  • Participate in W2 Communications team activities and meetings 
  • Get opportunities to draft client-facing materials 
  • Work directly with the media 
  • Support client and agency digital marketing initiatives
  • Learn tools and techniques used in everyday agency life 

Qualifications:

  • College Junior or Senior
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or a related field
  • Must be able to commit at least 15 hour per week for fall/spring programs or 20 hours per week during the summer
  • Strong writing, time management, research and organizational skills are a plus
  • Must have excellent oral communication skills, be a creative thinker, detail-oriented and proactive
  • Be able to work efficiently and accurately (both independently and with a team) in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting patience, diplomacy and maintaining a sense of humor
