Did you know (or hear!) about our brand new podcast series – Inside the Media Minds? We are excited to be on the air interviewing some of the most reputable technology reporters in the media landscape today.
The podcast features in-depth conversations with journalists who share everything from how they began their journalism careers, to their perspectives on trending industry topics, favorite stories and more. Our mission is to develop unique, useful and informative, behind-the-scenes content that you can’t find anywhere else!
Our inaugural episode featured Megan Gates, associate editor of Security Management. Not only did we learn about her writing rituals and favorite coffee shops, we also heard her thoughts on the changing media landscape and the top cybersecurity headlines in 2018.
In our second episode, we had the privilege of talking with Nick Wakeman, editor-in-chief of Washington Technology. With more than 20 years’ experience covering the government contracting space, he discussed the shifts he’s witnessed over the course of his career and how Washington Technology is helping its readers succeed at their jobs. As a bonus, we learned about his annual BBQ traditions and his thoughts on media paywalls.
The latest episode featured The Washington Post’s Aaron Gregg. Aaron writes about local companies with national impact and had a very interesting, and rather international, start to his journalism career five years ago. The conversation features an overview of Aaron’s current coverage areas, the interesting relationship between some of the large Silicon Valley companies and D.C. contractors, and a hidden talent!
